Child Protection & Anti-Human Trafficking

Donate

JJS is committed to protecting children and vulnerable individuals from exploitation, abuse, and trafficking. Our initiatives ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of every child while empowering communities to create protective environments. We engage in rescue operations with law enforcement, providing survivors with psychological counseling, legal aid, and reintegration support.

We strengthen child protection mechanisms by empowering Child Protection Committees (CPCs) at village, block, and district levels to address issues like child labor, forced marriages, and abuse. Awareness campaigns educate communities about the dangers of trafficking and child abuse.

JJS collaborates with border security, Anti-Human Trafficking Units (AHTUs), and law enforcement to prevent cross-border trafficking. Training for transporters, hoteliers, and locals enhances detection and prevention, particularly along the Indo-Nepal border.

We empower youth through Anti-Human Trafficking (AHT) Clubs in colleges and adolescent clubs in vulnerable areas. These initiatives have rescued and rehabilitated survivors, strengthened over 2,000 CPCs, and established 100 AHT clubs, making significant progress in trafficking prevention.

JJS envisions a world where every child is safe, and we continue to work with communities and stakeholders to eliminate trafficking and uphold children’s rights
