Gender Based Violence
JJS is deeply committed to addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV) through comprehensive, community-driven initiatives. With a focus on protecting women and girls from violence, JJS works to challenge harmful social norms and practices that perpetuate inequality and abuse. Through its advocacy, awareness campaigns, and collaboration with local stakeholders, JJS aims to foster a culture of respect, equality, and safety.
The organization is actively involved in strengthening legal and social support systems to ensure that survivors of GBV receive justice, rehabilitation, and the resources they need to rebuild their lives. JJS engages in educating communities about the causes and consequences of GBV, empowering individuals with the knowledge to recognize and prevent violence in their own environments. By promoting gender equality, supporting legal reforms, and creating safe spaces, JJS works tirelessly to combat GBV at all levels, from individual households to larger societal structures.
In addition to direct intervention, JJS strengthens the capacity of local institutions, including government departments and community leaders, to take proactive measures against violence and to provide ongoing support to those affected. Through its efforts, JJS is making a significant contribution to building a more equitable society where women and girls can live free from violence and fear.
